Ten Uses for creating a Hiveflare Community

Tina Feb 11, 2020

Hiveflare is an amazing SaaS (Software as a Service) community or social network management platform. Still, many people believe that a hiveflare community is too much money or too much hassle. This is not true. You can have a basic community up in minutes!

Here below in this article I can show you ten ways of hiveflare community ideas.

1. Music Or Artist's site - You and your friends have a a band, or perhaps you have been around a while, or you are a church group looking for exposure to your music. You can use the music module to upload your music, and your fans can create playlists of your music, and other people who are also on your site. Or you could have an 80's or 90's music site. They also have a videos page. You can add your church concerts or other band music and make similar youtube playlists on your social as well!

2. Open Forums - Create a forum site with membership, and engage everyone's opinion. Add things like extra articles for people to write based on an open subject. You can also add polls from the status box and gage people's opinions. Who knows what you will create?

3. Have a private or open public blogging or journaling site on hiveflare. You can update just your way, or open it up to have a huge opinion or journal site where people can discuss ideas or collab on a project or just share their hopes and dreams. You can also see who's reading what and how much. You can subscribe to another's blog with the follow button on their profile and the watch button on each blog.

4. Artistry site: You can allow blogs with photos on your hiveflare community and add just your portfolio or open it up to other users as well. Users can like content and you can see how many people are reading or looking at your content. You can also add videos and share vlogs or videos of your works so people can see the product in 3D so to speak. Add the marketplace module and page and sell your products directly on your social community! It is set up like a craigslist site so you have to contact the owner with an email if interested.

5. Facebook inspired: If you are like every other web geek out there, you probably want your own facebook. Hiveflare has you covered. It even has a facebook theme, that is easily modified in the css so you can change the top bar from blue to black or even hot pink if that is what you like! Hiveflare also has a newsfeed very facebook like with it's own emoji, #hashtag ready and @mention as well! You can even create a wikipedia like hashtag page in which you can keep people updated with that particular hashtag. You can set the moderator to the page as well. Now, with hiveflare's theme improvements, you can now even accomplish the facebook navs menu on the side going down the page like facebook itself!

6. Groups: The Groups on a hiveflare look like mini networks themselves. You have a newsfeed on each, can modify each with a new theme or use preset templates on the network itself, and it can be about whatever you like, from tv show fandom to Greek mythology, College work study, Band Items, Recipes, Gardening, Church socials, whatever you think will trend or people will like. You can also use all the modules of the network or community like photos, videos, articles, blogs and music and so much more.

7. Photo Or Picture Network: Maybe you are thinking of a picture network where the main item is usually a profile and a picture. You can set so many free members to have a number of pictures and then allow VIP members or what not to have unlimited for a set of a small fee. Users can like the pictures, and you can see how many times one has been previewed, you can make albums to keep your pictures in like "Me at the beach june 2019" or something like this and keep your photos updated. Works great if this is a local site where you have allot of members who live near you in town. You can also allow things like Videos and Vlogs or personal video blogs of the people on your network. You can also set said number of blogs, articles, videos and music tracks as well so free members see one thing and paid memberships see another. You can also accept payment for subscriptions under the Stripe gateway or use paypal.me on your sites as well.

8. News, Education Or Events Web Community:

Such as real estate website or community for members of your real estate business, or say you run a Church social event's calendar or even a Pagan Pride events calendar, and you want to put your works online, well here you go! Using the articles or blogs, you can tell people about your events, and on the events module and page you can show case the event. Members can say if they are going or not or interested like facebook, and other event socials. You can leave maps and detailed directions. You can select if all can see the invitation or you can select private or invited guests only can see the event. Add covers and avatars just like facebook or other platforms including Oxwall.

9. Pages: Create a social network full of important people to let people advertise their brands or themselves. You can add pages also as well as profiles and make people feel like they can market or provide updates with wonderful news. You can also @mentions on pages as well. Like you want to invite @Roots to a group you have about Gardening and just enter your group page and in the status box type "@Roots, I invite you to my group, please feel free to join". If you are following him or her you will get notifs about their site activity as well as group updates. Pretty soon I believe pages will have a buy and sell feature.

10. Full Fledged Social Community:

Hiveflare has allot of features and modules, so do not feel intimidated. Some people have more experience with SaaS and other community platforms like a CMS (Content management system) but they are often self hosted. With Hiveflare all you do is make an account, and create your social. You have 14 days to try it for free. If you don't think you want to continue, you don't have too. It's freely your decision. You own your own data. So do your members. If you can run a wordpress.com blog you can run a hiveflare social community. Hiveflare also has the ability to place GIFS from GIPHY straight into your html comment boxes, in articles, blogs, statuses, tag pages and your profile/pages and groups. The possibilities are endless.

Sure you could go to another site builder, and create whatever it is you wish to create, but on hiveflare, you will create well.
